When it comes to blogging, WordPress is the best option to manage a blog.

These days, I still manage WordPress hosting for my high traffic blog. Managed WordPress hosting is a specialized hosting package that is built entirely around WordPress.

1. If you plan to create a WordPress blog with high traffic, get the WP Engine. The extra cost is worth it. It is also a good option for those who want to pay a little more so that they do not have to worry about anything related to their Hosting.
2. Get a fast host, with high availability and unbelievable support, for all other sites. Bluehost, Siteground, and Hostinger are your best bets.

First of all, you want a web host with high availability. This means that your site is always available and never goes down.

Do not skimp if you are going big.

And if you plan to stay below 50,000 visitors/month, get a standard shared hosting plan. Not to worry.

Hosting Cost

When you don't want to pay too much for Hosting, you definitely don't want to pay too much.

Avoid choosing a host, especially at a price.

Dedicated hosting gives you a server just for you. No one else has space on this server. You will also have full control and can configure this server at will.

Which of these should you get? Here are some simple rules of thumb:

1. Small sites should share hosting. Any impact from other sites on the same site will be minor. It is the best option for any site that has 50,000 visitors per month or less.
2. When you get more than 50.00 visitors/month, switch to cloud hosting and then to a dedicated host if you really need it. Don't worry about a dedicated host unless spending thousands of dollars on hosting seems like a rounding error in your annual budget.
